Gerry Shear has been involved with Big Brother Big Sisters for over 12 years serving as a board member in Southern Nevada since 2006. Previously he was a Regional Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and a Board Member and Foundation Trustee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah. He also serves as an active board member of the WSC Foundation in Gunnison, Colorado.

Mr. Shear is the Managing Partner, Real Estate Group of GENCO ATC. GENCO ATC is North America’s Second Largest Third Party Logistics Provider employing over 10,000 people in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He earned both his bachelors and masters degrees in Business Administration and holds the commercial real estate “CCIM” designation.

Molly Latham has been working in youth development programs in southern Nevada for 13 years. Previously she was with the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and worked with the 4-H Youth Development program. She also worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas as the Sr. Vice President of Operations. She has trained staff and volunteers throughout Nevada in both urban and rural communities. Molly’s undergraduate and graduate degrees are in Business Management and she has advanced to candidacy for a Doctorate in Education Leadership from the University of LaVerne. She is passionate about youth development and delivering quality programs that meet the needs of young people in our community.

Kobbe D. Shaw has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2000. He has been a Big Brother for 4 years, and has professional fundraising experience for numerous not-for-profits through IDC, Ltd located in Henderson, NV. Kobbe graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served 8 years in the US Army as a soldier, an NCO, and commissioned officer. He recently graduated from the UNLV College of Business with an MBA and currently serves on two local Non-Profit Advisory Boards. Kobbe has raised over $2.5 million for various national and local non-profits since 2005, and has raised over $300,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada since 2009.
